Job description 

As a Smart Solutions Manager you are responsible for the ongoing development and successful implementation and commissioning of the “Smart Package” in the OVG projects. The Smart Package being, a state-of-the-art IoT platform and building automation solution, realized in collaboration with key suppliers, to deliver smart solutions to our clients and users.

You will have to:

  • Manage the delivery of the smart package to multiple complex projects in various stages across different countries, to ensure timely and superior completion of all deliverables.
  • Support the operations team to ensuring the smart solutions work and are maintained in accordance with specifications.
  • Manage and oversee the contracts with our smart package partners to cover risks back-to-back.
  • Setting and reviewing the budgets and manage the planning process for the Smart Package delivery.
  • Challenging the pricing and solutions offered by our smart solution suppliers.
  • Form effective working relationships and networks with smart suppliers and service providers.
  • Stimulate and help partners and potential partners in developing and redeveloping new and existing smart solutions.
  • Estimate and help finding new smart solutions and upgrades for the OVG Smart Package.
  • Work with other OVG teams to help support OVG’s growth. More specific:
    • Work on the definition of the Smart Package version 1.0 and help with the further continuous development of OVG’s Smart Solutions.
    • Support the design teams of different OVG projects in the specification of the Smart Package in different countries (to start with NL, Germany, US).

Given the growing portfolio of OVG the expectation is that in the short term this single position will grow to a team of experts managing the delivery of smart solutions for several projects globally.
