Ideally located in one of Amsterdam’s major business districts, the future looks bright for SPARK. The office building, formerly known as Bustitel II, was Deloitte's Amsterdam office before moving to The Edge. OVG bought the building in 2014 and is currently transforming it in to one of the most smart forward buildings in The Netherlands.
From G to A
The building is being redeveloped by OVG to meet the demands of a modern working environment. This includes renewal of the facade, entrance and the interior. Also the climate installation will be improved in order to make the use of energy more efficient. After this operation the energy label will go from G to the most economical category A.
SPARK is a great office location, mainly because of the convenient location close to Sloterdijk Station. From there, Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Central Station are just a few minutes away by train.
The area surrounding the property is in major development and the number of facilities only continues to grow. At present there are already several restaurants, hotels, shops and a supermarket nearby.
Amsterdam Sloterdijk precinct has long been an unknown industrial zone within the Dutch capital. After the crisis, the tide has changed for this area and the Sloterdijk district has turned into a dynamic urban area. Thanks to the focus of the municipality of Amsterdam, this district is continuously in development increasing the number of available facilities.
It is a strategic location for offices as it has excellent accessibility by road, rail and water, as well as via Schiphol International Airport. Both the airport and Amsterdam Central Station can be reached within minutes. Amsterdam Sloterdijk is now home to a great number of international organizations.
