MAXIUM In Rotterdam Alexander purchased by OVG
OVG Real Estate buys the office building Maxium at the Marten Meesweg in Rotterdam Alexander from a German real estate fund. The building is the former Eneco headquarters. OVG Real Estate also developed the neighbouring Eneco headquarters.
The office building, right at the A20, Marten Meesweg 25, offers approx. 16,000 m² BVO office space and 248 parking places. OVG Real Estate will re-develop Maxium and make it sustainable. A renowned architect takes care of the design. As such, the facade will be renewed. An atrium will be added and big floor areas will be created, which will give the building a modern image, which facilitates the new way of working.
“THIS TRANSACTION FITS INTO A SERIES OF PURCHASES OF EXISTING BUILDINGS, SITUATED ON STRATEGICALLY GOOD LOCATIONS, THAT WILL BE MADE SUSTAINABLE.’’
Boudewijn Ruitenburg, Director Investments OVG Real Estate
