OVG Real Estate buys Alexander Portfolio
OVG Real Estate is buying the Alexander Portfolio owned by Sachwert-Rendite Fonds Holland 53. This gives OVG Real Estate the ownership of three office buildings with a total office space of approximately 34,000 m2.
With its purchase of the Alexander Portfolio, OVG Real Estate becomes the owner of office space in Rotterdam, Delft and Utrecht. Now that the transfer was made yesterday, OVG Real Estate will start applying its expertise in the field of sustainability improvement to the Alexander Portfolio.
The Alexander Portfolio
The Alexander Portfolio consists of three separate assets known as New Tide, Signum and New Delphi.
New Tide, the well-known former AD and NRC newspaper headquarters, is located at Marten Meesweg 35-49 in Rotterdam. This office building provides approximately 16,400 m2 of office space and will immediately be redeveloped with a focus on improving its sustainability
Signum is located in business park Delftechpark 30-40 in Delft. This multi-tenant office building with 7,400 m2 of office space is fully let; its tenants include Maatschap PKF Wallast, Kipp & Zonen B.V. and Croon Elektrotechniek B.V.
The New Delphi office building offers 10,200 m2 of available office space and 270 parking spaces, and is located at Rijnzathe 6 in Utrecht and is being purchased vacant.
The purchase of the Alexander Portfolio is entirely in line with OVG Real Estate’s policy of acquiring existing buildings at strategic locations and improving their sustainability.

Locally the building is famous for being the headquarters of two national newspapers in The Netherlands. Since OVG Investments purchased the building as a part of the Alexander portfolio the building is ready for its second life.
