OVG Real Estate wins Sustainable Leadership award

CoreNet Global has announced OVG Real Estate to be the winner of the Sustainable Leadership Award. This annual award celebrates work that accelerates the adoption of environmentally friendly and socially responsible real estate practices.

OVG Real Estate received the award for The Edge, the most sustainable office building in the world according to the BREEAM standard. The Edge is energy-neutral and sets an example in technology and innovation used in an office building.

Following from this award, OVG Real Estate is now selected to compete for the prestigious H. Bruce Russell Global Innovators Award (GIA), one of the profession’s most respected competitions. OVG Real Estate will present the case study of The Edge before a panel of senior industry leaders at Harvard University this summer. The winner of the Global Innovators Award will be announced at the CoreNet Global’s 2015 Global Summit North America in October. Previous winners of the Sustainable Leadership award are Google (2013), CBRE (2011) and NASA (2012).
