Rabobank Fellenoord in Eindhoven reaches highest point
On Tuesday, May 10th the new office of Rabobank in Eindhoven reached its highest point.
The construction is of Rabobank Fellenoord is carried out by the Volker Wessels subsidiaries Boele & van Eesteren and Stam + King. The official part of the celebration was performed by Piet van Hoeven (Volker Wessels), Thomas Ummels (OVG) and Pieter Ketting (Rabobank). Construction is on schedule and the office is expected to be delivered in the 2nd half of 2017.
Appropriate for the Environment
The new office is designed by UN Studio and fits into the current urban policy of the Municipality of Eindhoven. The design is dominated by horizontal lines, interrupted by diagonals. By shifting some of the construction layers the building gets its playful character. Only sustainable materials are used for construction and the design is aimed at limiting the energy consumption. Furthermore, the new office naturally blends in with the environment, including attention to green and a partially open area.
New way of working
With this development Rabobank Netherlands wants to create a safe, attractive and adaptable work environment, suited to the New World of Work. The new office will get a wide range of facilities ranging from concentration areas to meeting places and spaces for meetings and rooms for presentations. The office has about 1,500 workplaces for approximately 2,000 employees and 544 parking spaces.
