OVG signs with TBI companies Croonwolter&dros, Mobilis and Servicis for new head office
After thorough revitalisation by OVG Real Estate, MM25 in Rotterdam will become the new head office for the TBI companies Croonwolter&dros, Mobilis and Servicis. The parties have signed a lease contract for approximately 8,400 m2 of office space. The office building will be delivered to Croonwolter&dros, Mobilis and Servicis in the autumn of 2017.
The redevelopment of MM25 is made possible by the innovative Green Loan Facility provided by ABN AMRO. Dam & Partners Architecten is responsible for the design and the realisation of the project is in the hands of TBI companies J.P. van Eesteren and Croonwolter&dros. The redevelopment will make the building a sustainable and high-tech office building offering its users a healthy work environment.
Pioneering smart building
After the renovation, MM25 will meet the European energy efficiency class A standards and will thus fulfil the objective of the climate treaty. In addition, it will be a so-called ‘smart building’ through the use of various smart technologies based on the award winning development The Edge. The office building will be tech-ready, meaning it uses localisation sensors and intelligent data infrastructure to collect information from the building’s users, with which the devices in the building can be adjusted to the users’ needs and energy consumption reduced. The technology will also ensure that the rooms in the office building are used more efficiently. In addition, LED lighting, a new energy-efficient heating and air-conditioning system and heat-reflective glass will contribute to a great reduction of energy consumption.
The renovated MM25 will provide a modern, comfortable and inspiring work climate. The work environment has an open and transparent character and flexible interior design, which complements the working methods and needs of the organisations.
The building is located on the Marten Meesweg in Rotterdam Prins Alexander, a location visible from the A20 motorway. The lease of the other 6,000 m2 is in the hands of real-estate advisors CBRE and DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield.
