OVG Real Estate and Regus sign lease agreement MM25

Regus, the global provider of workplaces, will move into the thoroughly revitalized MM25 in Rotterdam. OVG Real Estate and Regus have signed a long-term lease for an office space of approximately 2,074 m2 and 21 parking spaces. The agreements concerns the last two vacant floors and MM25 is now fully let.

MM25, the former headquarters of Eneco, is located next to the A20 in Rotterdam Alexander. OVG Real Estate bought it in 2015 with the intention of making it more sustainable and redeveloping it into a 'SMART building' by integrating various smart technologies based on the EDGE Technologies platform. The combination of smart technologies and sustainability features ensure an efficient, healthy and green user-centred workplace. The data infrastructure is the basis that optimises the building and allows users to personalise their workplace.

With the renovation the energy label has been improved from E to label A and a BREEAM Very Good certification has been achieved. BREEAM is the most widely used quality mark for sustainable buildings worldwide.

Boudewijn Ruitenburg, Executive Commercial Director of OVG Real Estate & EDGE Technologies: "Thanks to the EDGE Technologies platform, this office is not only highly sustainable, but above all very smart. I am delighted that Regus has chosen MM25. "

OVG Real Estate has delivered the office building at the end of 2017. TBI companies Croonwolter & dros, Mobilis and Servicis have already moved in. Coca-Cola will move in, in October 2018.

Annelou de Groot, Board Regus Netherlands: "We are very pleased that we will offer our services in this special building, where corporate Coca-Cola is also located. SMART buildings are the future and provide a lot of convenience for our customers. This location shows that Regus is increasingly embracing technological developments in flexible working. "
