Eneco

Tailor-made

Eneco

Eneco’s mission is to provide The Netherlands with 100 percent sustainable energy in 2030. Of course Eneco needed to have a high-tech and sustainable office at its disposal, in order to achieve this. Architect Diederik Dam designed, commissioned by OVG Real Estate, a building that was tailor-made for Eneco.

Green wall

This building has solar panels on the roof, but also one of the greatest facades with solar panels in The Netherlands, underground heat/cold storage, roof gardens and a so-called vegetation facade/green wall. This wall, two floors high, insulates and ensures the purification of polluted air from the area.

Well deserved

Because of the innovative layout of the office area, also an open, interactive way of working was introduced. By this flexible way of working now 1,530 workspaces turn out to be sufficient for the 2,100 employees. A building that treats it’s ‘residents’ as sustainably as the environment, indeed deserves an A+ label.
